The Little Aggravations: Things I Don't Miss
by simon17 inthere are some major problems with the jws, doctrinally, socially, and organizationally.
from shunning to crazy elder bodies to guilt trips, there are many things that were really bad.
this thread is devoted to the small, insignificant things that just really really irked you.

Ah yes, saying a prayer in a restaurant.
And going to the theatre and the whole bunch of dubs would sit whilst everyone else stood up and sang the national anthem. I would always stand even as a child out of respect and not to look so obvious. I just thought it was rude to sit though it. Plus I enjoyed embarrassing the rest of the group being the only one to stand.

Oh yes. I still have demon dreams now and I've been out of it 20 years. I don't beleive in demons any more but the fear must run deep.
My mother is always horrified if I buy second hand furniture or books incase they're demonised.
As a child, I didn't dream of demons so much but mostly about persecution, torture and concentration camps. I don't know which is worse.
